Looking at this car strictly from a reliability point of view meaning getting in the car, starting it, driving it somewhere and driving it back, it will very likely be more reliable than most $1950 cars.
However if reliablity means to you that all systems like A/C, no oil leaks, etc. be functioning flawlessly at all times then this car most likely will be a let down for you. If you can say that you are going to buy the car for $1950 and drive it for 2-3 years only doing the basic maintenence like oil change, tires, belts and hoses etc. and not worry about the little things then this car may be good to own.
