Local junkyard has a '94 850 Turbo. The engine and entire front end appear pretty pristine except the grille (most of the the damage was in the rear). 100,000 miles on the odometer. Car looks like it was pretty well maintained (not a beater).
How monstrous a job are we looking at in dropping this into a base '94 854 ? I am under the impression it's a more heavy-duty automatic trans, so I suppose the transaxle would have to come over with the engine. If not, please correct me.
Anything else that must come over, or is desirable to come over ?
They are presently asking $900 for the engine, turbo and tranxaxle. Unknown what they'll take.
