Why not ask them to deliver the whole car to your place? Then you can change all the associated parts as well.
Offer to leave all the parts that you have to remove inside the hulk so that they can sell them.
You might find it easier to remove the front fenders, bumper, radiator, etc, and they could profit from your labor.
On your side, you would have access to everything you need, and also some parts that might be damaged during the swap project.
I had thought about something along the same lines, and I would change as much as possible in one big lump.
(Actually my weird idea is to install a second drivetrain in the rear of a wagon!)
