My wife and I are looking at buying a V70 but we are having a problem with the various V70's we are driving. Unforunately all the V70's have leather seats and therein lies our problem. My wife has a lower back injury and she has tremendous difficlty driving the V70's.
Specifically, it applies to the leather seats. In particlar the "slippery" nature of these seats. As a result of this my wife cannot feel secure on the seats and slides across the seats when going around corners as she cannot support herself as most people do. Does anyone know of a leather treatment that may make these feels feel a bit grippier, or any other suggestions as I know we cannot put seat covers on these because of the side airbags???
I know this seems like a trivial issue, but for my wife it will mean that if we cannot get any solutions to this than a V70 is off our shopping list. I do not want to do this as we have Volvo's for the past 10 years and want to continue this tradition.
