850 Sunroof problems 850 1993

The other day I was driving my 850 and I tried opening the sunroof and found that the motor was spinning but not moving anything. Then I took apart the panel up front to get to the sunroof and removed the motor to realize that the motor wasn't spinning the gearbox. I got that fixed and put it back in place. Now when I run the motor it makes loud clicking noise when I try to retract it and only the left side moves. When I try to put it at the vent position it still only moves on the left side and just binds and stops. Is this something to do with the track? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
