i checked the voltage on the alternator. on the connection with a nut i put the postaive on it and the negative on the chassi and got 17/18 volts. i put it on the connection with the little wire and i got 11 volts. i dunno whats going on. the battery wont charge and pretty much, after putting a new alternator in the same problem persists. batery wont charge. i have tried hooking up a rv battery to jump the car, and same thing persists, a countdown.
