You are blowing our minds 850

Trust me...I'm just as confused as you. Like I said I took out the old, noisy blower....plugged in the new one and it took off on high speed! (with the key out and the ignition off, and setting at 0) I have had no problems like this before. It will only operate on high speed, and the only way to shut it off is by pulling the fuse. Even when I put in the old noisy blower I now get the same thing....It will not operate on any other speed....Brand spankin' new $45 Volvo resistor from FCP installed yesterday and same thing....I hate the thought of taking this in for repairs. My 227,00 mile wagon has been a trooper and I hate the thought of what it will cost me to get this fixed. For now, I am putting in the fuse when it's cold so I have heat and pulling the fuse when I park it...I was wondering if maybe it could have to do with the 2 blue Hella relays (even though they click when blower speeds are changed) that are in there....I don't know what else to do, Anybody know anyone in Northern Indiana that wants a challenge??
