I have a set of Falken 512s and a few thoughts. They hydroplane more than my winter snows (Michelin Artic Alpins). And they tend to lose air more rapidly than other tires I have had. Consequently, I didn't check air pressure often enough and the edge of the tires have gotten down to the wear bars in 15K miles (rotated every 5k). Tread in the middle is fine. This is the only time in many, many years of tire ownership I have had this problem. They also seem to be difficult to balance.
So, assuming you are willing to check your air pressure at least once a month, use caution in heavy rain where water runs across the road and buy them from a place that balances for no charge, they do represent fairly good value. But I'm not sure I'll buy them again.
