I just obtained a 2K V70 last month and had the same issue. The micro switch inside the door lock assembly is stuck in the "on" position. I found this by pure luck. In the dark with the doors closed look for the red glow of the light on the end of the doors (make sure the bulbs are working first) just peeking through the sill. I took the door apart to remove the lock assy but it looked to be too involved at this time as it requires removing the window etc. The short term fix is to unplug the wires at the door lock for the lights (not the switch). The only drawback is that door will not trigger the lights to go on.
