Hi Kelly,
Search forum under keywords "non-op heated seat", all info you should need will
be contained in the entire thread posted earlier this month.
Don't want to scare you, but I wouldn't suggest turning the seat back on until checking with the dealer regarding any silent recall, or having someone check the status of the heat pad.
