Shifter indicator light S70 1998

You will find that Volvo likes to hide things. You will have to lift up the center console! I have done this so many times to change bulbs, fix cigar lighters, etc. that I can do it in my sleep.
Lift up the armrest and you will find a little cutout at the bottom of the tray. Using a screw driver lift the cutout up and out. Two torx screws get undone, don't loose them. There will be at least two more torx screws at the front by the coin tray, lift it out to expose the screw heads.
That should give you just enough lift to expose the bulb you want.
Fun. Be careful you don't disturb the wires going to the back of the console.
