thank you for the advice....

I met with the owner he said he recvd the car from his mo inlaw 2 years ago. He did not complete the 70k sched maint. no timing belt change. no maint records available and he said he would get the info asap. car looks and runs great, minor scrathes and dings. I am scepticle tho, I called and asked the closest volvo dealer to look up the owner and gave him the vin and the service manager said he hadn't seen the car since 2001 when a sched maint of 35k was done by him. other than that it has no other records....??????

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS

He is holding his offer at 7600.00 with now 83k miles
I want to counter Offer at 6800.00 with all maint records available
