My 94 850 T5 wagon has a mysterious noise, which I believe I have pinpointed to the turbo. It is a rattling sound that is loud and clear from inside the car, but almost imperceptible from under the hood with the car running. With a close listen, I can hear it coming from the turbo charger. The sound only occurred at idle, and would go away with a gentle rev of the engine. Presently, it persists even when the engine is revved. I've noticed that the boost indicator does not move as much as it did when I got the car at 57K miles. It now has 110K. Can anyone shed any light on what my problem might be? I've had mechanics check it out and they think I am crazy! Maybe I am ;-).
