If you have a laptop pc, you could buy yourself the OBDII software and a special plugin to the car. Check FAQs in FEATURES above, or purchase an OBDII reader. Just make sure it lets you also turn off the codes. Costs run from from low $100's to lots of $100s, but the reader is yours and you don't have to visit a garage. Make sure your gas cap clicks twice before driving off.
