Engine light S40-V40

You know .. I called the dealership and my car is due for some recalls and some updates to the on board computer , my only thing is I'm no longer under warrenty so I'm very skeptical of what the mechanics are telling me ( if there is a problem ) Funny thing you mention the transmission smoothing over. right now my car does that when its changing gear from time to time. kind of rough... just hoping its not the transmission.. :(
