ETM (Electronic Throttle Module) S60 2001

>Btw-1: before cleaning, did the rpm fluctuate during idle, or is it recovering >directly after coming to a stop?

Yes, at times the idle would vary at stop, whether the A/C was running or not. It was never to the point of stalling out, though.

>Btw-2: did you also notified improved throttle response after cleaning?

Acceleration is improved, but I can't say how much is due to the throttle body cleaning as I replaced the air filter and spark plugs at the same time.

I was surprised at the amount of carbon build-up in the throttle body as most of the miles driven were freeway miles. This should be a regular maintenance item yet Volvo neglects to mention it. However, there now is a TSB regarding throttle body cleaning.

Good luck,
Richard
