instrument cluster/odometer gear 850

Does everything else work in the cluster? If so, then you instrument cluster is not bad. The broken gear in the odometer is very very common. Mine broke on my 850 too, and that was several years ago before the gear was readily available. Luckily I found a guy in Texas who I was able to send the cluster to, he replaced the gear and sent the cluster back to me, all in a few days. The cost then was $100 plus shipping both ways and I thought I was lucky. Today, it can be repaired fairly easily by you at a much lower cost...just the cost of the gear!
