I have a 2000 S70 SE turbo 71,000 miles with the same problem: intermittant starting problem and dealer and inde can't replicate problem when I take it in. My car starts great 8 or nine times then sometimes in the late afernoon (warmer?) I either get a hestitated turnover or won't crank. I have been able to start it so far by turning the key three or four time usually back to position 1. Car then runs great. Have you noticed a spark at the ignition and then the starting problem? I have sometimes lately. Very frustrating. Seems to happen more on warmer days in late afernoon, after car has been started many times during the day. Let me know what you wind up doing. My latest thinking is a grounding problem at the ignition switch ?????
