In step #3, press the button firmly, hold for about 2secs and repeat three more times (four total) to get into test mode #4. You will know you have done this successfully when the led comes on and stays on afterwards. Only then can you input 1-5-1, (press once, wait for light, press five times, wait for light, press once) Done.
