Just a thought on the Miata... I was rear ended by a Miata a few years back in my 744 Turbo. I wiped 2 red paint spots off my bumper. He had the entire fibreglass front piece replaced, along with many of the lights. The collision happened at relatively low speeds ~20km/hr, so neither driver was hurt, but I will guarantee that the damage to cars with a lot of fibreglass on them will be significantly higher when people are actually faced with a collision. Go with a lower mileage 740 turbo.
