A couple of things you could check...
1. Idle motor clogged (located just ahead of the throttle assembly, 2 vacuum hoses and 3 prong connector.) see Bay 13.
2. Dirty EGR - see Bay 13.
3. Clogged or leaking fuel injectors.
4. Low voltage after start up - under 12VDC can cause the fuel pump relay to cut-out intermittantly.
5. Vacuum hose cracked (could be anywhere); or diaphram located below EGR.
6. High water content in the gas (high heat and humidity exasperates this problem.)
