Have you checked the distributor cap and rotor to see if the contacts are pitted? Have you replaced the five wires that come out of the gray plug located near the center of the fire wall? These are the wires with the infamous biodegradable insulation. When they get damp, they short out and one is carrying 12 volts to the coil. Try running a jumper wire from the positive side of the battery to the positive side of the coil (terminal 15)(disconnect the harness wire first). It could be oxide on the fuses. Remove each fuse and clean the metal ends with steel wool, fine sand paper, or a scotch-brite pad. Clean the fuse holder clips too. The most important fuse is 6 or 7 because it's in the fuel pump circuit. Pull the 25 amp blade fuse and clean it too. The oxide causes high resistance at the connection points and stops the flow of electricity. I try to remember to clean fuses every six months. jp
