T5 in '71 142 140-160

So, on your 71 145, you've got the original transmission
tunnel without the hump that's almost between the seats,
and there is a hole near the base of the transmission slope
for the new T5 shifter?

What did you use for a boot? Did you also cut up the
carpet?

I'd love to see pictures.
