Allright, tell me the pros and cons about using Redline MTL 200

I went ahead and bought 3 quarts of this stuff @ $10 a quart and before I put it in I want to know the pros and cons to it. I already talked to ODGuru about it and he said that you shouldn't use anything other than type F auto trans. fluid but I've heard folks here on the board say otherwise. The reason I'm a little concerned is because after I bought this stuff I was reading the label and found out that this is gear oil and type F is alot thinner so MTL is really different from what Volvo recommends. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
