Doubts about replacement blower motor - need an opinion of gurus... 200 1987

Hello, all!

I am currently in a process of replacing the blower motor. The extraction of the motor was not difficult (thanks to advices from the Forum). However, when I started to compare the original Volvo motor and the replacement one (some brand purchased at FCP Groton), there appeared some doubts... To begin with, the Volvo’s one is a "sealed" unit, e.g. it has a solid body with only one hole. The motor's wiring is protected by a rubber hose. As I see it, wise Volvo engineers designed it in such a shape not accidentally: the motor is exposed to heat, humidity and dust, and it has to serve for a long time. Now, the replacement motor. It has holes on both sides (obviously, they are made for better ventilation), and that confuses me.
Now questions...

1). How reliable will this new motor be if it has very good chances to suck in dust and debris thru those holes?
2). How equivalent is such a replacement?
3). In the lights of reliability doubts, would it be better find the original Volvo motor on a junkyard?

Any advice is appreciated.
