front end rebuild 200 1992

If you are going to tear into it, I would do all the wear parts at once, especially if they are still originals:

Strut inserts

Ball joints

Outer tie rod ends

Front and rear lower bushings

Sway bar bushings and links. Better yet, put on a set of IPD sway bars front and rear!

Upper strut mount only if needed. The Volvo original part appears to be much better quality than many of the aftermarket ones.

The steering rack only if it is leaking or obviously worn.

Once this is all done you will be amazed at the improved driving feel.

Also check the rear suspension bushings. The upper torque rod bushings seem to be the first in the rear to go.
