Why dont' more ppl restore Volvo's? 140-160

I started tinkering with 240's in college because I was given free access to a couple of smashed ones and decided to build a daily driver. At first I wasn't sure a Volvo was the car I wanted, but after owning one for a few years I caught the Volvo bug, and I've owned some form of RWD Volvo ever since. I've known others with similar experiences - - they had to own one to really fall in love with Volvo's. Perhaps this is a factor in why these cars aren't more popular...

Anyhoo - my dad and I have been "restoring" a '71 S as a mildly-built vintage Time Trial and Ice Race car. Almost done, but I still need help getting a proper engine for it. It's been lowered with a sport suspension, the body has been shaved a bit, a nice rollbar was professionally installed, as was a corbeau racing seat. It's still got the original (and VERY tired) B20B in it, but it's got a Weber, headers and an allison ignition.

Here is the car as it sits today - just waiting for me to figure out what to put under the hood to replace the dying B20B:
