Flaws of the Volvo 200 200

Bypass your temperature gauge compensation board NOW!

Head pipe will either rattle or crack if you look at it funny.

Map pockets and E-brake console will shatter if you fart.

TABS fail and cause serious handling issues in 245s.

Pink label ECUs need taken out back to be shot.

Seat foam fails.

Crank position sensor harness fails... when you least expect it

OD relay and solenoid harness is a reliability menace.

Air intake thermostat sticks open and fries one AMM after another.

AC expansion valve plugs up, replacement required.

Rear tail light bulbs boil and pop after a hard rain.

Sun roof leaks due to plugged drain lines in the A-Pillars.

I'm sure there is a lot more I could add, but hey, is this a bad list for a new car? ABSOLUTELY! How is is for a 20 year old car??? you must answer that question on your own! Personal opinion is that with a bit of PM (knowing the above), breakdowns are almost unheard of, also, the above isn't that bad price wise to deal with!

Personal opinion of course!
