Engineering oversights and technical difficulties of the Volvo 200... 200

Ken:

You caught about half of what I missed! A couple more I just thought about are as follows:

Rear deck harness failures in a 245

Engine and trans mounts (especially if you have an oil leaker)

Bumper surround trim hardening, fracturing, and falling off.

Over or under the hump exhaust pipe cracks.

Accessory bushing failure that results in belt squeal and eventual failure.

Leaking Fuel pressure regulator

Bad Fuel pump relay

Odometer gear failure

Tripometer reset button failure

Ignition switch failure if you have too many keys on your ring

Plugged up vacuum line running to/from the TB

Plugged up spark arrester, oil leaks everywhere as a result

Think thats enough for tonight, but it is important to note that the above is easy to resolve/prevent with a reasonable maintenance plan!
