License plate bracket bolt sizes 200

The bolts which hold the front license plate bracket are a different size than the bolts which hold the rear license plate bracket. The rear bracket is held in place by M6 bolts 20mm long. What size are the front bolts? Mine are missing, and the rear bolts do not fit the front bolt anchors, which are smaller than the rear.

Now have an 86 DL, and used old valve cover cap head screws. The factory nuts were rusted almost off Inga. Went down to a Pick Ur Parts with out luck. The ones there were in just as bad a shape, and then saw the ones on the valve cover. Pulled one off and it fit on the front plate stud. So pulled 8 off the donor car. Went home and sprayed them with siver paint to prevent rust. They do the job just fine. If you want to buy new, pull one off and try it on the stud. If it fits you can go in with it and use that one as a guide.
