Busted door latch 700 1990

In later models -- not sure about your '90 -- the speaker grills need to come off to remove the inner door panel. Do this by sliding it toward the front of the car.

Once you have all the tabs removed, the panel is held on along the top by metal spring-clips. Simply give the panel a good shot upward with your hand, and it will pop off.
