A/C Modification 1800 1971

Rotary - typically a Sanden or Sankyo. They are much more efficient, so you will use less horsepower to run it. You can use R134a for it, just set it up that way on install, just use the correct oil with it.

Sd7s and SD5s are populae choices.

There is some controversy about seals, latest I heard is just do the conversion and don't worry about them. If doens't leak before, it won't leak afterwards.

There are adapters to use a Sanden on a York mount, or you can just get a rotary mount.
