Oil in intake on 240, non-turbo 200 1987

One more BB learned tip on that cracked elbow for you to check out.

If that cracked elbow on the manifold goes to a hose that goes under the engine (hose was off white in color on my 86) and then runs to a vacuum fitting on the ECU near the windshield washer reservoir, you can boot that line off at both ends with zero ill effects. It is known as something like the Chrysler Ignition modification. You will want to get a good tight seal off on each end.

Supposed to help with emissions if you have to get any of those tests done and gets rid of another possible vacuum leak.

Dang the folks on this BB are good.

Regards,

PT
