Plenty of gas, still no start 200 1989

If you pull of the coil wire at the distributor and hold the tip up to the manifold do you get a good steady spark? Just read up on ludid's post about the crank sensor. You really want to check that also and make sure you get a steady spark.

Shooting the starting fluid in will confirm that also.

Bottom line is take it one at a time, trying to fix two problems at once most of the time gets you on the wrong path. At least with me it has.
