Conversion to R-134A 200 1992

Actually, he should get the $79 kit listed at fcpgroton under the "AC hoses and pipes" section.

That's got the new U-pipe, receiver/dryer, and the proper oil in addition to the O-rings. It comes with a new orifice tube, but if you're in traffic a lot and in a hot climate I suggest a "Variable Orifice Valve" - look up local automotive AC suppliers in your area to find it.
