How can I make my '82 240 fail smog? 200

My God,

No wonder the state of California is going broke! What a ridiculous law! If you can make it fail, take the money and use it as a down payment on a Yoyota Prius, you know, green, hybrid, $5K over priced and so on. Make sure you only lease it for 2 years and 11 months, that way you will avoid the 3 year recommended service of replacing the battery pack for $9000 friggin' dollars! Make sure you investigate how your local Yoyota dealership disposes of the "used up" battery pack, after all, if it goes to the landfill (cheaper than recycling), heavy metals will leach into the ground water... if Cali had any!

Oh, wait, the heavy metals might make it to the ocean, ie. dumped off a boat (even cheaper)! Long term heavy metal poisoning will have a much worse impact on ocean wildlife than a massive oil spill caused by a drunk tanker captain striking a bridge!

Sorry about that RANT, but once again, Cali is in Tofu self destruct mode and you like anyone else who is hard up for money (like all of us), are looking to exploit the most moronically developed environmental laws.

If the car isn't safe to drive, go to the local bone yard and see what they will give you for it. While your at it, ask them how much they'd give me for a fully restored 65 T-Bird... two years ago it was worth $18K, now due to the economy, its worth $3K... 5000 pounds of scrap metal might be worth more nowadays!

Fix the car, sell the car, or have it crushed, but don't ask the BB to be complicit in subverting moronic Cali state laws!
