merge 2 242s into one great car? Is this worth it? 200 1981

Worth it is such a strange word when it comes to cars.
If you love it and want to keep it 'forever' it might be worth your time. As far as getting your money back on a resale...no, that wont happen.
If you had any decent shop Paint the car, count on $2000.

If you have the mechanical know-how (brother-in-law)to do 90% of the wrenching to do the swap overs. it will be just his time and patience more so than money.

Measuring 'worth it' is very hard. I have a Jeep I bought 30 years ago... I bought it for $2500. I've put a new body, frame, engine, trani...well lets just say the Steering wheel and 1 axle is what is left of the original jeep. I think it's worth it.. I love that thing. Many say I'm crazy driving a '75 Jeep.
