The other question about that same front hose is .. after it is attached and the car is driven, pull that hose and see if it is wet with fuel. If it is then your fuel pump regulator is NG. this causes additional gas to run directly into the intake manifold . Very often the reason for a rich running car.

I would not rule out the new O2 sensor. Are you sure the old one was bad? I might try putting it back in.
