Injector cleaner not only cleans the fuel system and injectors of deposits, it will remove carbon from your valves and cylinder tops. To the extent that you achieve better combustion as a result, your mileage will definitely improve. I find that when my cold startups are not the greatest (missing and stalling due to deposits), a bottle of Techron solves everything.

What it will NOT do is improve mileage in an already clean engine.
