I went through all the LED bulbs I could find, and despite their claims, they are all whoefully dim compared to incandescents. That's why I resorted to building my own panels (see the pictures in my other two messages on your thread).

I wrote this up in Rolling, "Converting to LED Lamps", March/April 2007, pp 34-5, 37.

Sorry for the bad news.
