Here's a solution to that problem .... 200 1986

I wasn't willing to cut into my Lenses. my idea was to design a PCB with small holes to snap into the pins that hold the Flex circuit on and use as many LEDs as would fit through the exiting 3/4" hole. That's why I maxed out at 14.

I wanted it to basically look bone stock when the lights are not illuminated.
