Go by the local Auto Zone, and buy the inside rear view mirror adhesive. This stuff comes with a cleaner, and the glue is a CyanoAcrylate glue. It will bond the clips to the glass. Be sure to scrape all the old glue off first with a single edge razor blade. Get everything clean before you try to glue the parts on.
