Let me apologize for ranting/venting here on this wonderful forum, but I simply must...I hope you all will forgive me.

Please, folks...Tell your congressman this poorly thought out "CashforClunkers" idea is a really stupid idea...tell your senators...your friends...tell your children...tell your dealers who are participating...tell EVERYONE...this is not only idiotic and unsound logic, this is just plain WRONG, on SO many levels, layers, sub-levels, and sub-layers!!!

Show them the video link, and let them see the absolutely incredible durability of the Volvo engine!!!


The mentally challenged clown with the camera, and the other loons who are laughing as this heroic Volvo valiantly struggles to survive the lack of lubricant and the abrasives flowing through her system....these guys are testament to the pitiful inadequacies of our educational system in this country. Stupidity such as this I have - honestly- never before witnessed in my entire life.

ps...Does anyone, by chance, know the name(s) of the dealership responsible for this insane destruction of such a perfectly serviceable and highly valuable Volvo? And/or the thoughtless owner(s) who allowed their Volvo to be destroyed in such a horrible way? I would love to share my thoughts with these people.
