You have a Neutral Position Switch going out. It will no start when the car is warm, the air is humid, and just because for some time to come. The only fix is to replace the entire thing.
Take a phillips screwdriver and look at the very front of the Stick shift cover. There are two screws in the front of the cover and remove them. The cover will lift up and on the passengers side is the offending switch. It's a large triangle looking thing with two sets of wires coming off it. The yellow black is for the Reverse Lights and it not what you are looking for. The other two wires are Blue and Blue yellow and that is what you need to follow. This goes over to the drivers side of the car to a two pin connector. You have to follow it under the carpet, I suggest gently tugging on the wire and find the mating plug.
The next time it happens you need two spade lugs and a couple of inches of wire. You unsnap the connector and put a jumper across the side of the plug closest to the gas petal, not the one that goes to the switch. The car will crank up every time with the jumper in there, but it will also try to start with the car in gear. The car has to be in park with the switch in place.
That or a remote start switch that costs less than $20 are you choice until you replace the switch.
Good Luck,
Paul
