To diagnose you would need the car to fail on cue which isnt likely until the problem becomes worse(more frequent). You can check for OBD codes and see if anything has been captured by the event. See FAQ's for procedure. There are a few likely culprits which if they havent been replaced at 165k are due to be replaced anyway. I would replace the fuel pump relay 20$ and 10 minutes. Radio Suppression Relay 20$ and 10 minutes. If your car has 2 fuel pumps(Bosch) the Ignition amplifier/power stage is about 80$ and another 15 minutes. If its a one fuel pump dealie and the fuel pump is original...it is suspect as well.
