I'm looking at my can of LPS brand contact cleaner, CFC free so it's not giving off flurohyrocarbons I guess. Thats what I use, it evaporates quickly. I think I purchased it at Home Depot. I spray it on and plug the connectors in and out a couple of times. I suppose after cleaning you could put a dab of dielectric grease on the connector with a toothpick or Q-tip. I generally put a thin film of ordinary plumber's grease on the base of light bulbs to keep the corrosion from making the glass twist off in my hand. [I do it now to the base of light bulbs in the house too]
