I've got a pair of 205-65 x 15 crammed onto the rims from my '72 144E. (I wouldn't go with any wider tire on those rims, but those 205s were free.)

My tire size of choice on the 140 is 195-75 x 15 on the 5.5" rim, but those are getting really hard to find. They are kind of tall, but I like the look. Cooper used to make them in the Trendsetter line.
