trashed engine? - advice please 900

I had a similar experience, sudden rough idle, very rough, a compression test was about 10 psi. Took the head off and had an exhaust valve that was held open for a moment by a chunk of carbon coming off a piston, the valve was slightly damaged on a section of the edge, just enough to greatly reduce the compression.
