940 Front End Work

Yep, that's it. I'll add a few caveats though;

one, protect the fender when swinging the top of the strut out.
two, take off the caliper or the hose can/will be damaged
three, do something about the ABS wire as it can be damaged also
four, take off the tie rod end, as I've seen trouble getting the strut low enough to swing out with it attached and angled down severely.
five, have something to protect the sides of the piston when tightening the collar/gland nut, as it's not hard to hit and damage it.
six, make sure you understand how and where the bearing goes, as
a. it sometimes falls out and is damaged, and
b. some have re-installed it upside down.
and don't forget/miss the washer that sits on the step on the piston. Leave that out and it's all toast, including the hood.

the 'control rod' has some other names too, one is 'control arm stay'.
