I just picked up a 1993 240 wagon 179k auto.and the car upshifts late and won't engage fourth gear at all. The OD relay works fine ( clicks and turns arrow on and off). the fluid was full but very brown and burnt looking. I am going to change/flush it tomorrow. If the fluid change doesn't help is the solenoid the culprit >
